Anam Exports are engaged in the business of manufacturing and export of casual footwear and other leather products since late 1990s.

Anam Exports designs and produces premium quality leather footwear for men, women, and children, and exports these and other leather products to an elite list of brands in Europe, the US, and other parts of the world.

We specialize in Casual Footwear, Ladies’ and Kids’ leatherwear, and embroidered footwear, such as, boots, sandals, slippers and ballerina.

Processes and the Products

Anam Exports uses premium quality buffalo leather to produce finest quality of footwear for its customers. Each new order is processed using leather as per specifications and designs provided by the customer.

Our own team of traditional craftsmen and trained workers examine each process and product individually to ensure that only the best products reach the customer.

The company employs a large team of traditional craftsmen, who are in the business of shoemaking since generations. We also employ trained machinery operators, technicians, marketers and business administrators who help us produce finest quality products that are both trendy and durable.

The company has 100% in-house production facilities with a combined manufacturing capacity of 50,000 pairs of shoes, and 25,000 pieces of other leather products per month.

The company uses modern, imported state-of-the-art machinery, and employs trained manpower, master craftsmen, and qualified technicians to produce finest quality products that are trendy, durable, and value-for-money for the end customer.

Our administration and management is committed to timely delivery schedule, and adherence to strict quality control.

Testing Standards & Traceability
  • Upon receipt of all raw materials and before cutting/issue, we get the materials tested as per REACH norms/buyer’s requirements.
  • We keep complete track of materials that have been issued for production, along with its test report.

Social Policy

The company subscribes to the standards and norms as defined under Policy for Social Accountability SA8000:2014 certification. We at Anam Exports are committed to:

  • Comply with all legal and social requirements as per SA8000:2014 standards.
  • Comply with national, international and other applicable social laws, and other standards the company subscribes to.
  • Regularly review, audit and improve social accountability management system.
  • Inform, educate and train employees on social accountability standards.
SA CERTIFICATE

Our organizational social policy applies broadly to the following areas:

  • Child, Forced or Compulsory Labour: We do not use or support child labour, forced or compulsory labour, or prison labour in any process.
  • Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining: Employees are free to do collective bargaining and join trade unions of their choice. As such, there is no trade union in our organization. We only have Workers’ Committee, whose representatives are elected by hand raise method. Employees are free to raise issues through non-management representatives, who in turn take it up with the management or its representatives.
  • Discrimination and Disciplinary Policy: The company does not discriminate or support discrimination in hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination or retirement based on race, religion, caste, origin, gender, sexual orientation, political or trade union affiliation or age.
    Our managers are competent and have skills to resolve issues objectively, maintain honesty, loyalty, fairness and respect for others, compassion, integrity for objectives and culture for openness.
  • Anti-Harassment Policy: The company has a policy against any form of harassment in the form of gestures, language or physical contact that is sexually coercive, threatening, abusive, exploitative or derogatory. The company has a complaint policy against any form of harassment or sexual exploitation. People involved in such acts may face legal proceedings against them, which may include penalty or dismissal.
  • Working Hours: Working hours are maintained so as not to exceed 48 hours a week. Work timings are from 10 AM to 7 PM IST. Sunday is weekly off. Overtime, if required, is arranged in compliance with wage policy and is voluntary.
  • Remuneration: The company complies with industrial minimum wages act at the time of employing personnel and ensures that any notifications received thereafter are complied with.
  • Recruitment Policy: Our organization provides proper training for health, safety and social responsibility to every employee. We do not discriminate at the time of recruitment. If required, we verify age of employees through valid proofs. We do not retain original documents of employees.
Health & Safety

Our general policy on health and safety has been designed to showcase our commitment to managing health and safety effectively at workplace. We take additional actions to manage health and safety measures set out in the arrangements section of our policy. These include:

  • Improved lighting
  • Using signs to highlight risks
  • Anti-slip flooring
  • Replacing hazardous chemicals with less harmful alternatives
  • Improved safety equipment or additional personal protective equipment, such as guards, goggles, safety boots or high-visibility clothing as per requirement
  • First-aid kits in every section of the manufacturing unit

Besides, we provide regular staff training and arrange safety drills to ensure that our premises and workers remain safe and alert in all circumstances.
